Medical Simulation

As experts in the practical implementation of simulation-based training and professional development programs, graduates apply a wide range of training modalities and are familiar with their general and special effects on the quality and safety of patient care.

Graduates are able to:

  • Employ simulation and audiovisual media technology purposefully
  • Carry out learning goal-oriented simulation training
  • Improve the participants' training outcomes by using modern testing and debriefing methods
  • Evaluate the participants' learning outcomes

Admission requirements

  • Proof of successful completion of compulsory schooling and
  • Completion of (occupational) training related to health care and
  • Currently teaching or planning to teach at healthcare institutions
    e.g.: emergency medical services, hospitals, nursing and care facilities, universities and universities of applied sciences

The Practitioner in Medical Simulation postgraduate course

Ich schätzte im ULG "Practitioner in Medical Simulation" den multiprofessionellen Austausch, aus welchem auch weiterführende Zusammenarbeiten resultierten. Es war eine Bereicherung auf beruflicher aber auch persönlicher Ebene. Es wurden Möglichkeiten aufgezeigt wie Simulation in die Praxis gut funktionieren kann und wie man diese bestmöglich implementiert.
